Promoting Creativity
in West Norfolk

MUSIC DIRECTOR John Kramarchuk spent thirty years as a performing musician, recording-artist and studio engineer. He is now Course Director of Music at the College of West Anglia. Having completed a Degree in Music and Technology, he now delivers a range of music activities across West Norfolk, some of which are specifically for young people with special needs or those facing challenging circumstances. He also teaches A Level Music and Tech, and runs Film Making clubs for young people. John’s mission is to pass on his experience, using music as a tool for education, wellbeing and social cohesion.

Kirsten Murray has been home educating since 2007. Noticing a lack of activities locally involving digital technology and aimed at children, she started running Scratch coding sessions in her village library. Kirsten would like to create a hub where young people can borrow resources, be offered interesting opportunities with creative technology, and make friends through shared interests in a supportive environment. Kirsten volunteers for the Norfolk Library Service running Scratch and microbit sessions, has a degree in Electronic Music and enjoys making absurd electronic musical instruments that create a terrible racket.
